{"id":1048,"date":"2004-11-03T21:22:25","date_gmt":"2004-11-03T15:22:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.t-e-g.co.uk:\/blog\/?p=1048"},"modified":"2004-11-03T21:22:25","modified_gmt":"2004-11-03T15:22:25","slug":"wednesday-3rd-november-2004","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.t-e-g.co.uk\/blog\/wednesday-3rd-november-2004\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday 3rd November 2004"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following on from some of my comments in my previous post, last <a href=\"https:\/\/www.t-e-g.co.uk\/blog\/?m=200410\">month<\/a>  I was rather bemused to discover the following <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/technology\/3974081.stm\" target=\"_blank\">article<\/a>  as a headline (is that the right phrase to use?) on  <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">BBC News<\/a> website. Obviously that is taking an extreme  example but I do not want to see myself in that dire  predicament (which I personally see as a lose lose  situation). To be frank, would you really keep a semi-biographic  blog, with your own photos. It just does not make  sense. I know the blogging world has no rules or etiquette,  but there should be room for some common sense. Either  you decide to write an open personal blog about your  life. Or under alias write, critically if you feel  about your employee, neighbour or local MP. Looks  like the Queen of the Sky has truly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theregister.co.uk\/2004\/11\/03\/airline_blogger_sacked\/\" target=\"_blank\">lost  her crown<\/a>. Yet still, I have an overwhelming desire,  a burning in my heart, and buzz in my mind to get  this blog off the ground and working. Working in the  sense, it becomes something important, if only to  record my career path.<\/p> <p>Thanks for your comments, JT and Nazma. As always this blog lives on the comments of the readers and much of the direction is guided by these views.
